Assembly represents the second dominant area of business activities of the Think Plastic Group and the company Plastikcam East DOO.
Parts are assembled manually or semi-automatically, depending on the product.
The process itself may include ultrasonic welding, bonding, riveting, manual and mechanical assembly…
The parts completed by Plastikcam East, in addition to their technical requirements, often have exceptionally high requirements also from the aesthetic point of view (polished surfaces, minimum bonding lines, absence of traces of assembly…).
Prior to initiating any new projects, operators undergo training in the Design Centre in Italy and after such training they are qualified to assemble properly and to fulfil all requirements.
Training is mandatory also for the quality control personnel.
